Here's what I think about therapy

I believe we're all doing the best we can with what we know in the moment. When we face trauma or hardship, the brain does a brilliant job of adapting to keep us safe, and it adopts whatever beliefs and behaviours are necessary to get us through.

Often, the beliefs and behaviours that keep us safe and functioning at one point in our lives stop being helpful, and may even start wreaking havoc on our ability to be the person we really want to be.

Even things like anxiety, self-doubt, ignoring your own needs, and suicidality, were once protective in some way, shape, or form.

If you're reading this, it's likely that you've noticed some of your own beliefs and behaviours holding you back from the life you really want to live. I've been there too!

You and I can uncover how your experiences have shaped how you show up in the world today, process the things that have happened to you, explore your current emotions and relationships, and learn how to work with your parts rather than having them run the show.

Let's do it together!
