You Don't Have to Keep Living with Anxiety & Self-Doubt

That constant overthinking, the feeling of never being good enough... it doesn't have to be your normal. You deserve to start trusting yourself. Therapy can help.

In-person in Guelph or virtual across Ontario.

Start here - A free 20-min consult

Does this sound familiar?

᯽ A mind that never shuts off - replaying conversations, anticipating worst-case scenarios

᯽ Holding back from saying what you really feel because you’re afraid of being “too much”

᯽ Second-guessing every decision you make
᯽ Feeling like a fraud, no matter how much you accomplish

᯽ Avoiding situations because you're afraid of messing up or being judged

᯽ Physical tension: tight chest, stomach knots, shallow breathing

᯽ Exhaustion from trying to hold everything together while falling apart inside

How It Works

1 - Book a Free Call with Meg

Schedule a free 20-minute phone or video consultation to see if we're a good fit. If not, I'll help you find someone who is.

2 - Create Your Plan

Together, we'll build a personalized therapy plan that meets your needs.

3 - Start Healing

Begin your journey toward feeling more like yourself, entirely at your own pace.

Why You Feel This Way

Anxiety and self-doubt don't come out of nowhere. Often, they're rooted in early experiences - growing up with high expectations, criticism, or environments where you learned that your worth depended on your performance.

Over time, your nervous system learned to stay on high alert. Your inner critic became louder. And without realizing it, you started organizing your entire life around avoiding failure or rejection.

The truth is, there's nothing wrong with you. Your brain is doing exactly what it was trained to do. But with the right support, you can retrain it, and finally feel at ease in your own skin.

Imagine What Life Could Look Like

✓ Waking up without dread or a racing mind

✓ Making decisions with confidence instead of doubt

✓ Speaking up without apologizing for taking up space

✓ Letting go of perfectionism and embracing 'good enough'

✓ Feeling calm and present - not constantly bracing for what's next

✓Actually believing you deserve good things

✓ Showing up as yourself in relationships instead of the version you think people want

Let's Do This Thing

Megan Gauthier, MSW RSW

I'm Meg, a Guelph-based therapist specializing in anxiety & self-doubt, relationship patterns & attachment, and the lasting impacts of childhood & relational trauma.

I work with clients who look “fine” from the outside but feel exhausted on the inside - the overthinkers, the people-pleasers, the ones who were always told they were “so mature” or “so easy” growing up. If that resonates, you’re in the right place.

My approach draws from IFS and EFT. What that means in practice is that we don’t just talk about your anxiety, we work with the parts of you that carry it, understand what they need, and help your whole system settle.

Clients often tell me that this is the first time anxiety counselling actually feels helpful, not just overwhelming or clinical.
